Ron DeSantis has made a big mistake
The cult of MAGA is freaking out. Why is that? Well, it all has to do with this little thing called civility. This week President Biden went to Florida to meet with the families of the victims of the Surfside collapse. The President spent many hours with them and reportedly spoke to every person who wanted to talk to him. And Governor DeSantis was very complimentary of our President. Re-read that last sentence, and it tells you everything you need to know.
That’s right. MAGAs everywhere are fuming. How on earth could DeSantis even speak to President Biden? They are wailing. They are screeching: He has betrayed us!! No more DeSantis 2024! He has betrayed the former guy! MAGA! Biden should not even have been allowed into the state. DeSantis should never have even said hello to him!
The fact that hundreds of people are grieving and many have been killed or are still missing in the collapse does not appear to bother MAGA so much – or at least nowhere near as much as the thought of the President in the state of Florida, speaking to the Governor!
And this is why of course, no GOP member has a chance of bonding with MAGA. One cannot bond with insanity. To get MAGA to like you, you’d have to do whatever they say anytime they say it and never ever do your job and do it well. I do not think some people have grasped the cultishness yet. They either cannot understand this, or they will not.
