Roger Stone is in deep

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Trump co-conspirator Roger Stone increasingly finds himself being buried deeper and deeper in a foul pile of excrement. At this point, he’s almost up to his armpits and sinking fast.

Stone is under law enforcement investigation for a possible role in planning the January 6 Capitol insurrection assault. He claims that he never even left his hotel room that fateful day. Of course, that’s not true, like much of what Stone says in public.

There is substantial video and photo evidence showing Stone outside his hotel on the evening of January 5 with right-wing extremist Oath Keepers, who also worked as Stone’s security detail at a “Stop the Steal” rally that evening. Stone is also seen in a video taken outside his hotel the morning of January 6 flanked by Oath Keepers and another thug identified as having participated in the Capitol insurrection riot. Stone is captured on video chatting amiably with the riotous gang members, even posing for selfies with some of them. One was armed with a baseball bat.

The Oath Keepers also ran security for Stone at a December 12 “Stop the Steal” rally in Washington, where he spoke. Another speaker that night was disgraced former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn. Others present there reportedly were two leaders of the right-wing extremist group the Proud Boys, some of whom also participated in the Jan. 6 insurrection riot.

Roger Stone has been pardoned by his “godfather” Don Trump for his prior crimes against our nation. But there is no pardon for crimes committed subsequent to the pardon. It appears that Roger Stone will be going back to criminal court and prison. And this time, there will be no pardoning of his felony convictions.
