Nancy Pelosi is absolutely right

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

First the insurrection on January 6, 2021, then the impeachment couldn’t be delivered to the Senate until after January 15 because McConnell said the Senate was not in session. Mitch McConnell got up to speak this week, after the impeachment vote, and said that Donald Trump was practically and morally responsible, but he couldn’t vote for it because Trump wasn’t the President at that time.

McConnell just wants it both ways. He wants to look like he was impartial and that he ALMOST voted to impeach Trump, but he didn’t, so he is still a Good Republican. Donald Trump watched the mob chaos on TV unfold. Donald Trump was impeached when he was President.

Speaker Nancy Pelosi is absolutely correct. That trial could have been held while Donald Trump was President. Mitch McConnell just wants to have his cake and eat it too. I am all for a 9/11 type of commission to investigate and report on the January 6, 2021 insurrection.
