More bad news for South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem
South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem seems to be trying to give Governor Abbott of Texas and Governor DeSantis of Florida competition in the “worst governor of all” contest.
As Palmer Report told you, Noem found herself involved in yet another scandal, this one involving her daughter. Here’s a quick recap — Noem’s daughter was seeking a certificate as a Real estate appraiser. For reasons unknown, her certificate was reportedly denied by the state.
However, per AP, a subsequent meeting took place involving Noem and state officials. Noem’s daughter did end up getting her license. There is an aura of secrecy about both meetings, and both Noem and her daughter have denied anything shady or illegal took place.
But now, state authorities have said they will be looking into the meeting that occurred between Noem and state regulation employees. The AP has said this meeting happened last July. Noem initially lashed out at this report claiming journalists were trying to “destroy” her children.
This IS the same woman who has gone after Hunter Biden with venom. Now, it is very possible that nothing illegal occurred. Nobody is saying it did. All AP did was report the story. That’s their job. And now that the Attorney General of South Dakota is looking into it, we should know for sure what exactly happened.
