Matt Gaetz is twisting in the wind

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

And now another update in the continuing saga of “Matt Gaetz is in deep denial.” I like the term “water seeks its level.” I am sure you have heard that term. And most of the time, it is true. We tend to gravitate toward people we share similarities and interests with. That’s just the way it is.

An example would be Palmer Report. The readers of Palmer Report (trolls not included) are intelligent, educated News consumers. They enjoy getting upfront and honest news, and Palmer Report likes providing it. Likewise, people tend to do this in their personal lives as well, choosing friends and partners they share fundamental values with and things in common.

Sometimes these people bring out the best in each other. But other times, when you get two toxic and evil people throwing in their lot together, all hell can break loose.

And that is the story with Matt Gaetz (Venmo fan-insurrection party-Florida) and Marjorie Taylor Greene (racist-insurrection party-Georgia.)

These two vile and wicked individuals are continuing their “America First tour.” And Gaetz is doing anything and everything he can to distract us from the ongoing investigation into his dirty deeds.

But in addition to the racist tour he has embarked on with Greene, Gaetz cannot stop tweeting about himself and Greene. Gaetz has tweeted about the disgusting election audit calling it a “launchpad” for audits all over the country.

In addition, the hapless Floridian is now defending Greene, insisting she is not racist. He is also chastising other GOP members who have rebuked Greene (there have not been many), saying some Republicans “took the bait.”

Matt Gaetz and Marjorie Taylor Greene are perfect examples of water seeking its own level. Nobody else, except a few racists, would ever have them. They are bound together by need.

But for Gaetz, as the investigation reveals more and more, his days in Congres, thankfully, may be numbered.
