Marjorie Taylor Greene has bonkers shouting meltdown
Two Washington Post reporters recently witnessed Marjorie Taylor Greene stalking Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) after they exited the House chamber late Wednesday afternoon. Greene shouted at AOC twice to get her attention, “Hey, Alexandria.”
When AOC continued walking, Greene went chasing after her, shouting at her and asking why she supports antifa and BLM, falsely claiming they were terrorist groups. Greene further shouted AOC was failing to defend her “radical socialist” beliefs by declining to publicly debate her. (And we all know who would win that debate if she did.) Greene proved she is not only a moron — she’s a bully of a moron.
“You don’t care about the American people,” Greene shouted. “Why do you support terrorists and antifa?” AOC did not stop, and only turned around once, throwing her hands in the air in an exasperated manner. The two reporters could not hear what AOC may have said to Greene in response.
AOC’s spokeswoman Lauren Hitt said in a statement, “Representative Greene tried to begin an argument with [AOC] and when [AOC] tried to walk away, Congresswoman Greene began screaming and called [AOC] a terrorist sympathizer. We hope leadership and the Sargent in Arms will take real steps to make Congress a safe, civil place for all members and staff … One Member has already been forced to relocate due to Congresswoman Greene’s attacks.”
“She’s a chicken. She doesn’t want to debate the Greene New Deal,” Greene said to a small group of reporters and onlookers. “These members are cowards. They need to defend their legislation to the people. That’s pathetic.” What a lunatic.
This is not the first confrontation Greene has had with Democratic members of Congress, which of course has caused them to raise safety concerns. I guess she’s trying to take Trump’s place as Washington’s designated bully, but she’s just showing her *ss there even worse than he did. At least he was usually on Twitter instead of shouting in people’s faces in public. That gal must have been raised in a barn.
