Lauren Boebert has a whole new problem

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

We are starting to hear of the Congressional connections to the right-wing insurrectionist groups that infiltrated our Capitol: Mo Brooks, Andy Biggs, Paul Gosar, Lindsey Graham having dinner with the head of the Florida Proud Boys. But, many wonder, me chiefly among them, what about Lauren Boebert? The Daily Beast now reports that recently arrested Robert Gieswein posted pictures of himself from 2018 flashing a militia group sign outside of the Colorado bar Boebert owns.

We don’t know if Boebert has been questioned by the FBI for live tweeting that the Speaker left the Chamber – after already having repeatedly tweeted “1776” the morning of the Capitol attack. Boebert may claim it was innocent; others may conclude it was anything but – intended instead to let her insurrectionist friends know that they should not go to the House floor but rather, they should proceed directly to the Speaker’s unmarked office. The FBI doesn’t advertise its interviews, but surely her tweets alone warrant questioning.

Twitter was abuzz over the weekend with speculation that the “Pink Hat Lady” seen shouting orders on a megaphone was Boebert’s mother. The woman apparently is not since yesterday the FBI released a picture asking for the public’s help in identifying her. The woman appears to be younger and thinner than the publicly posted pictures of Boebert’s mother.
