Joe Biden comes out swinging

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

“Have you no shame?” This was the question that will echo through history. This was the question asked by our outstanding President, President Joe Biden.

Biden delivered a stirring and glorious speech on voting rights. He urged Congress to pass legislation. He also spoke of the evils that the insurrection party is currently attempting: “Hear me clearly … There’s an unfolding assault taking place in America today, an attempt to suppress and subvert the right to vote in fair and free elections, an assault on liberty, an assault on who we are as Americans.”

There sure is. Only we, the people, are not going to let it happen. No way. To the doubters, I ask you this: Do you understand how much we have already accomplished? We are the activists, the truth seekers, the ones who stand guard over our Democracy. It has teetered before. But it has always been saved.

And so it will be saved again. We have a unique and genuinely gifted President. And we stand with him, in his nobility and human decency. We will not let America fall. Not now, not ever.

“Democracy or autocracy? That’s what it comes down to.” Biden continued. We, the people, will always choose Democracy. We have faced adversity and danger before. We have struggled. We wear our struggles proudly. And we are not afraid of struggling once more.

“We are facing the most significant test of our Democracy since the Civil war,” said our President. Indeed we are. But we will prevail. We have the numbers. We have the pride. We have the fierceness of spirit. And we have the eternal love for our country that shines as brightly as the morning sunlight.
