House Republican Nancy Mace crashes and burns

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Nancy Mace just voted for “Literal Q-Anon Lady” Marjorie Taylor Greene to keep her education and other committee assignments.

When freshman Nancy Mace (R-SC) came to Congress, Americans were relieved that the people of South Carolina elected a seemingly sane Republican. Mace spoke out early against Republicans who planned to reject the election results, and again after the Insurrection to those who continued to contest them. She voiced her disgust with “Q-conspiracy theorists” and publicly called Marjorie Taylor Greene a “Literal QAnon lady.”

After the insurrection she was on multiple cable news networks relaying the fear that shook the Congress. She repeatedly pointed out how thankful she was that she sent her kids home. She discussed how she had to flee her office due to threats. She spoke of how afraid she was of being targeted because of her vote to validate the election.
Now she’s done a 180 and is on a rampage against Democrats. She’s not only picking needless and childish fights, she is lying to the American people while doing it. Her attack against Rep. Ocasio-Cortez was disgraceful. And, once AOC (and the entire Twitter community) called her out, she somehow thought it was a good idea to turn to attacking Rep. Omar. The reaction was swift and ugly.

“Pathetic”, “disappointed”, “disgusted”, were just some of the comments. “I thought you were different. Shame.” One referred to her as the next (Q-whacko) Greene. Another mused that it was good to see her working with her colleagues to do what’s best for our country instead of trying to divide it further.

The Q-anon Sedition Caucus of Jim Jordan, Matt Gaetz, and Kevin McCarthy, had a very easy time of converting the seemingly sane Mace – too easy. For them to accomplish this in less than 3 weeks time has to make one wonder if she was actually like this all along. Mace has only been sworn-in for 4 short weeks and already we know she needs to go. Jaime Harrison, whoever you get lined up for 2022 count me in to donate.
