GOP Senator Tim Scott goes completely off the rails

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

These days it seems like the Democrats can’t stop winning. And that is a good thing. And the Republicans? Well, they are not winning so much. They are not winning at all. And they know it. This has caused some of them frustration. And as they double down on what they’re against, nobody seems to know what they are for. And that leads me to one Tim Scott.

Senator Scott (insurrection party-South Carolina) seems determined to eclipse Lindsey Graham in bizarre comments. What is it with Senators from South Carolina? The people there have my sympathies.

So, Scott, chatting with Trey Gowdy on Fox Entertainment, said that “woke supremacy” is as bad as “white supremacy.”

“We need to take that seriously,” the clueless Senator said. This comment caused a backlash, CNN’S Don Lemon could not believe what he was hearing. Apologizing to his audience because he did not “want to yell,” Lemon proceeded to let loose. “What are you doing?” Lemon said. “You are gaslighting people.” Well said, Don. And what is “woke supremacy” anyway? Seriously.

Is it the cancellation of Mr. Potato Head? Is that what caused Scott to compare it to domestic terrorism? Is Mr. Scott afraid “woke” people want to kidnap Dr. Seuss? Nothing about that comment makes any sense, but neither do Republican policies because the Republicans have no policies.

The good news about this garbage is that if Republicans like Scott keep embarrassing themselves and this country with pathetic comments, they will lose massively in the 2022 midterms. The Republicans are now more concerned with being “woke” than about the American people, many of whom are broke, sick, and hungry. The GOP’S demise continues to spiral, and for that, they have nobody to blame but themselves.
