Former Fox News pundit gives away the game

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

There is nothing like fundraising off of death. This is happening. All over the country, frenzied Republicans are sending out emails filled with fake indignation as they assume masks of fake righteousness and demand money from gullible Trump supporters.

The way they are doing this is to point to President Biden’s mask mandates. Apparently, there are big bucks to be made over mask propaganda, and being the pathetic crooks that they are, Republicans want to cash in on every dollar of said cash.

Emails are flying through space, landing squarely in Trump supporters’ mail. Hysterical texts are being sent begging for money for imagined litigation to stop Biden’s “authoritarian” mandate.

And ardent Trump fans are going along with it, leaving the GOP smug and self-satisfied. Death is a huge corporate business, and with the right lies, the sky is the limit! This is, of course, one great big con. But these emails succeed because they trigger anger.

To get the easy cash from their base, the GOP must keep them in a sort of suspended state of rage, where they float, minds full of noise pollution that has been jammed into their psyches by smug corporate millionaires.

And it is not just GOP members who hold elected office. Fox death-news is cashing in. Every night it seems, outraged Fox pundits try to scare their viewers for money and ratings.

It does not seem to matter to said viewers that the hosts they listen to are following strict vaccine mandates from — who else — Fox death-news, of course!

Gretchen Carlson, a former Fox pundit, turned sane, tweeted out these words, which pretty much sum up the GOP’s nasty game: “I love how Fox and Friends do segments about how awful it is for companies to requite vaccinations for #Covid19 with people who don’t want to be vaccinated — never revealing Fox News’ policy that employees have to be vaccinated or get tested regularly. #WhatTheFox.”

Great tweet that sums up the whole issue right there. Sadly, I doubt many Fox watchers will listen. I do not know if they believe this or would care even if they DID believe. For many, their rage and “owning the libs” have taken over their common sense.
