Chuck Grassley goes off the deep end in Iowa

Iowa’s GQP Senatorial fossil and all around Branch Trumpvidian traitor Chuck Grassley is now whining that ensuring all Americans can vote is unconstitutional. He’s beating the states’ rights drum over this, saying that the states set the election procedures, which was the excuse of racists all over this country in their quests to ensure that only certain people (read white and male) got the right to vote.

Of course Chuckles failed to mention the part of Article I, Section IV that right after saying that the states can set the manners of elections that, “Congress may at any time by Law make or alter such Regulations” which gives Congress the power to protect the right to vote on a national level.

Chuckles have proven yet again that the only people he and the rest of the GQP want to vote are those that would vote for the GQP no matter what. He has no problem suppressing votes or overturning lawful elections, which is what he would have done on January 6 if he had the chance. He needs to be voted out and by all rights go to prison for the remainder of his life.

While it’s important for the Democrats in Iowa to do everything they can to get out the vote, someone needs to light a fire under the Iowa Democratic Party’s ass about getting someone to challenge Chuckles and put someone in office who isn’t just there to gain power for their party. Iowa media outlets (KCRG, KWWL, Telegraph Herald, and so on) love to make hay about how much Republican are raising in the hopes that Democrats will give up and not show up to defeat the likes of Chuckles and CovidKim.
