BANNED!

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Poor Orange Florida Man (OFM). It’s been quite the past few days for him. First his stooge Rudy Guiliani got his house raided by Federal agents with a search warrant. Then Judge Jackson ordered the unredacted memorandum of the DOJ’s justification in not holding OFM accountable for obstruction of justice, which means Bill Barr is screwed. And he’s still facing state charges in New York. All of these things mean that a change in address form redirecting his mail to a correctional facility is in OFM’s future.

And now, we have news that Facebook’s oversight board has upheld the ban Facebook imposed on OFM after the January 6 terrorist attack on our Capitol. The board said, “Given the seriousness of the violations and the ongoing risk of violence, Facebook was justified in suspending Mr. Trump’s accounts on January 6 and extending that suspension on January 7.” The board, however, did say that Facebook must review its decision in six months as it had concerns about the length of his suspension. But OFM remains banned from Facebook for the foreseeable future, and I suspect even if the ban is ever reversed, he’ll be in prison by then.

The OFM is about to go through some things. And denying him a tool to spread his hateful bullshit to the new bund (aka the GQP) will make it that much better. I hope this news ruined his day even more than his day had already been ruined.
