Zelensky gets the last laugh over Trump
Donald Trump may have thought he was accomplishing something for himself by ambushing Ukrainian President Zelensky in the Oval Office for all the world to see. Or maybe Trump was just doing it to keep Putin happy. Either way, it’s starting to look like Zelensky is getting the last laugh.
Zelensky visited the United Kingdom today, where he was greeted warmly by both Prime Minister Keir Starmer and King Charles. It sent a clear message to the world that even if the rogue President of the United States going to turn against Zelensky, key US allies are still standing with him. This came even as elected leaders from around the world continued to take to social media to voice their emphatic support for Zelensky and Ukraine.
If anything, world leaders appear to be finally figuring out that the Trump regime isn’t going to do anything to help Ukraine, and that the rest of the world is going to have to fill in the gap. Ukraine will presumably begin receiving more cash and weapons from the rest of the world than before. And Trump has merely ended up looking small and irrelevant in the process.
