You’ve got to be kidding
Criminals are not so easily identifiable as to know one when you see one. Think about Ted Bundy, Son of Sam, and so many others. Think about how, often when someone is arrested for doing terrible things, predictable quotes come out from friends and neighbors, usually saying: “He was so nice. He was quiet, and friendly. I NEVER SAW THIS COMING.”
Yes, “never saw this coming” has been used thousands, if not millions, of times about criminals. But not all of them. The J-6th terrorists are criminals. I do not care if Donald Trump pardoned them. They are evil scumbags and will forever be synonymous with the attack on the Capitol. We all know that. We watch them and wait for some to be rearrested, which some predictably have already been.
But apparently, Pam candy floss, pom-poms-for-Trump Bondi never got the memo. I say this because her DOJ wants to give these sickening terrorists MONEY. The Department of Justice has announced it is considering paying back the J-6TH terrorists to compensate them for the damage they caused to the Capitol.
If you are wondering if you’re in a dystopian novel, rest assured — you are. You see, some of the criminals were ordered to pay damages for all the things they broke during their frenzy of hate. Since their convictions were “invalidated,” they are now entitled to get their monies back, a lawyer writes IN AN ACTUAL FILING.
What’s next? Will Donald Trump give them a million a piece? Will he give them cookies and candy? Will he give them Mar-a-Lago.? This story makes me feel a bit sick inside. By all rights, these out-of-control livestock known as the J-6 terrorists should be locked up in the barn, cells across doors, unable to move freely about society. After all — they were found guilty as charged,
Trump, who is still calling these assholes patriots, seems to be talking more and more about compensating them. I’d like to know how the Capitol Police feels about this late development. Criminals come, and criminals go. But what happened on January 6 will never leave our consciousness because we won’t let it.
It will remain with us and a part of history, these dastardly cowardly human trash-baskets frozen in time, a living testament to the frenzied and maniacal criminality of the mob — we won’t forget even if Trump has never even admitted it happened at all.
