You can’t get much more anti-American than this

What makes someone an American? Is it enough to be an American citizen? I don’t think so. I ask this because Donald Trump, held a town hall on Fox non-news. During this town hall, Trump claimed that when he was President, he had told NATO allies that if they didn’t pay him billions, he would not defend them from a Russian attack.

Sound American to you? I doubt it. As disgusting a statement as that is, the reaction from the peanut gallery stuck out. Trump’s town hall audience broke out into wild cheers and clapping. It appeared a bit frenzied at times. And it made me wonder: WHAT is in the heads of these anti-American strangers?

For that’s what they are. They are strangers whose beliefs are likely alien to anyone who DOES love their country and who looks upon America with pride.

So what happens in these peoples’ heads as they clap, stamp, and cheer? Are they aware of how foolish and how deeply ignorant they appear?

During a “closed-door” meeting with NATO leaders, Trump claimed that he told them they were delinquent on payments. And then, according to Trump (and one must take anything he says with a BIG grain of salt), one leader stood up and asked:

Does that mean they will not have protection from America if Russia attacks them? “Are you paid up?” Trump asked shockingly. “If you’re not paid up, the answer’s no, I will not protect you.”

Upon hearing that Trump had said these words, the audience at the town hall descended into monstrous cheers. They rippled. But these people have no independent thought processes.They are the Anti-Americans.

Do they even know what NATO is? I’d venture to guess some of them likely do not. Do they know anything about what happens to people — to families — to little children — in invaded countries?

Have they ever seen pictures? I wonder. Images of dead bodies, of innocent people who did nothing. Have they ever fought in a war? Do they have any family members who fought for the rights we now enjoy so vastly? And do they have any awareness — any at all — of what anti-American fools they have made themselves look like?
