Yep, Donald Trump really is going to prison

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

With each passing week, the news out of New York and Georgia makes it more clear that Donald Trump is on a path to prison. The Manhattan District Attorney’s Office has met with Michael Cohen eight times and counting, and has hired a prosecutor with a specialty in white collar crime families to run prosecution in Trump’s criminal trial. Georgia has also begun putting its criminal case against Trump in front of a grand jury.

Yet there are still defeatists within the Resistance who are baselessly convinced that Trump is going to magically “get away with it all.” If these defeatists don’t want to take our word for it, they should listen to Watergate figure John Dean, who knows exactly how these things work:

It’s not clear why some liberal activists think they’re helping things by responding to the news of Trump’s ongoing legal downfall by yelling “Trump is going to get away with it all no matter what” in the comments. But the reality is that Trump is in the process of going down, now more than ever. Just ask John Dean.
