Yep, Donald Trump and Elon Musk really are going after your Social Security

Everything that Midas touched turned to gold. We have a president who touches everything and turns it to shit. Trump and Musk continue to try to make things more difficult for seniors relying on social security. Martin O’Malley, the former head of SSA, said that Musk is intentionally trying to “break” social security so that he can loot it. I don’t doubt that. Trump continues to claim that he won’t cut “entitlements,” but he’s merely trying to hide the fact that he and Musk plan to pillage social security. Everyone knows how bad this is. Author Jeff Nesbit, public affairs chief for five federal agencies (including SSA) under four different presidents, posted a link to the article about Ned Johnson and wrote: “So incredibly sad that Musk/DOGE are now preying on people like this.” It will be interesting to see how long this goes on before someone stops it. The other Republicans must know how bad this looks, but they’re more afraid of Trump than they are the American people, which is why they need to stop voting these cowards into office.
Michael Steele, former chair of the RNC and current host on MSNBC, discussed what’s happening with SSA on his show. He asked the audience, “Folks, take a moment. Do you really trust Elon Musk to get you your checks on time? Well, the most recent commissioner of the social security administration definitely does not.” I’m not worried about timing as much as I am concerned about getting them at all, but Steele got to that. O’Malley believes: “Ultimately, you’re going to see the system collapse and an interruption of benefits. I believe you will see that within the next 30 to 90 days.” We have already seen it. Remember Ned Johnson? He’s not the only senior who has experienced this, but it gets worse. The more confusion Musk can create, the easier it will be for money to go “missing.”
MSNBC brought the story of yet another senior who has had to fight for his benefits since Trump took office. James McCaffrey is a 66-year-old retiree in Oklahoma City, and he had a similar experience to Ned Johnson. Like Johnson, McCaffrey received a notice requesting that he pay back $740, and he didn’t understand why. He sat on the phone for hours until he got through. SSA ultimately repaid the money but refused to explain what happened. They wouldn’t even give the media the reason. That’s because the people Musk is installing in this agency have no clue what any of this means, which is yet another reason why Musk and his band of idiots need to step away from SSA. McCaffrey believes that he was mistaken as “an undocumented immigrant” because he was born in Germany on a U.S. military base, but that’s ridiculous. Fortunately, there are advocacy groups that are keeping their eyes on things. Unlike Trump and Musk, they care about us and the money that we paid into this system. That money should be protected from criminals like Trump and Musk. The more noise we can make, the more our money will be protected.
