Wolf Blitzer rips Donald Trump a new one

Now that Donald Trump and most of his senior advisers have caught coronavirus, you’d think he’d finally be forced to admit that the pandemic is getting worse in the United States, not better. You’d be wrong, because Trump is clinically deranged.

CNN host Wolf Blitzer brings up a good point on Twitter: “With the coronavirus pandemic in the U.S. getting worse, would someone please remind me why the White House has stopped the Task Force media briefings. Don’t the American people deserve to hear from Doctors Fauci, Birx, Hahn, Redfield and other medical experts on a daily basis?”

Of course at this point Birx, Hahn, and Redfield have all succumbed to pressure from Trump and said things that disqualify them. But it’s nonetheless remarkable that Trump simply has no interest in holding coronavirus press briefings anymore, now that he’s concluded he can’t use them as an effective campaigning tool.
