Last night Democratic Senator Richard Blumenthal appeared on the Rachel Maddow show on MSNBC and revealed that Donald Trump Jr is going down for perjury. This prompted Donald Trump to lash out at Blumenthal on Twitter just minutes later, suggesting that the Senator had touched a nerve. Now we know why Trump was so triggered by the revelation.

Another piece of news also surfaced yesterday: Special Counsel Robert Mueller is still looking to force Roger Stone’s associate Andrew Miller to testify before the grand jury. Palmer Report pointed out last night that this means more criminal charges are coming against Stone. But this evening Rachel Maddow pointed out that this likely also means at least one more person is going to be indicted in relation to Stone’s WikiLeaks antics. She thinks it’s Donald Trump Jr. We think she’s right, considering that these kinds of investigations tend to work up toward bigger fish, not downward. It gets more intriguing.

The Roger Stone indictment says that an unnamed Trump campaign senior official (Steve Bannon) was told to have Stone continue conspiring with WikiLeaks. The indictment didn’t say who gave this order to Bannon, but as Palmer Report and others have pointed out, this instruction could only realistically have come from Donald Trump or Donald Trump Jr. Now, in the wake of the Stone indictment, we’ve got Senator Blumenthal suddenly revealing that he witnessed Trump Jr commit perjury in closed hearings.

Congresswoman Jackie Speier is suddenly beating the perjury drum. She stated last night that a member of the Trump Organization committed perjury while testifying to Congress. She declined to give away the person’s name, but Donald Trump Jr is the only Trump Organization official who has testified before Congress, so she’s definitely talking about him.

So now we have Robert Mueller preparing to indict a big fish in the Stone-WikiLeaks conspiracy that could probably only be Donald Trump Jr, even as multiple Democrats in Congress are suddenly announcing that Donald Trump Jr committed perjury. It’s as if they know Junior is about to be indicted, and that perjury will be one of the charges, and they’re announcing it in order to soften up the ground for what’s about to happen.

This leads us back to Donald Trump. He knows precisely what Donald Trump Jr did in relation to Steve Bannon, Roger Stone, and WikiLeaks. Someone in Trump’s camp has surely explained to him that the Stone indictment leads directly back to Junior. So when Trump heard Senator Blumenthal talking last night about Junior being nailed, no wonder he erupted so angrily. All the pieces are starting to come together in rapid fashion.
