Why is the media letting Bill Barr get away with this?
The media simply will not stop playing its mischievous and destructive games. It appears many in the media have learned absolutely nothing from the Trump years. Or maybe they HAVE learned, and they simply don’t care. Ratings, ratings, ratings.
Many in the media want only ratings. “Click on me.” “Watch me.” That is their battle cry, and we are the soldiers, looking for peace and harmony from the self-serving and overbearing Generals desperate to entice us with anger. Bill Barr.
Palmer Report warned of this. Barr has been making the rounds lately, desperate to promote his book, which I would never read and which nobody should. He is sucking up to the media like a virulent worm. And being the Drama lovers they are, many media pundits eagerly cater to Barr. With everything going on right now, how is Barr even RELEVANT?
Answer – he isn’t — not in the slightest. But the media does not care. They seem to believe — in their shallow minds — that Barr and others like him equal ratings. So it’s up to us to show them — to educate them — in their follies.
Not that they will necessarily learn from us either. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over. And like ostriches, the media hides their collective heads in the sand every time.
So, let us speak with them in the only language they understand — the money and rating language. Please — every time you see a self-satisfied Bill Barr on a Pundit’s show, cackling like an evil dwarf, turn the channel. But also tweet the media. Email them. Tell them to stop it. And tell them you are not watching if they don’t stop with the drama.
You will notice I didn’t mention what Barr has actually been saying. This is because I don’t care and neither do most people. That is the point. What political relevance does Barr have? Answer – none. He’s not just unimportant; he is utterly meaningless. He makes no contribution to our discourse. But the usual suspects — Tapper, Todd, etc. — cannot or will not stop themselves. It’s time for us to let them know what we want — and do not want.
