Where’s Trump?

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. Donald Trump put on a suspiciously semi-coherent debate performance, but when he tried holding a rally the next day, he came off as senile as ever. Since that time, even as the media has tried to manufacture a phony crisis for President Biden (the polls are still pretty much tied), Trump has been… missing.

It’s one thing to lie low when the media is beating up on your opponent. But this is something different. Trump’s surprisingly mediocre debate performance opened up a window of opportunity for him, but it was the kind of narrow window that he needed to go out and capitalize on. He hasn’t even tried to do that.

Instead Trump is sitting home doing nothing. He should be out there trying to convince persuadable voters that he’s the semi-coherent guy they saw in the debate, and not the fully senile dementia patient he’s been in his previous fifty public appearances.

But Trump can’t do that, can he? Whatever parlor tricks might have been used to make him come off as non-senile during the debate, it doesn’t appear to be something that his handlers can keep replicating, or else Trump wouldn’t have been out there giving a senile speech the day after the debate.

So even with the media now hyping the fictional narrative that Biden is the senile one, Trump is still saddled by the fact that he is senile. He’s clearly unable to go out there and seize the opportunity. Meanwhile, when is the media going to bother to notice that Trump is missing in action entirely? Donate to Palmer Report, click here!
