Where’s Mike Pence?

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Yesterday evening Mike Pence announced that he was canceling his Friday campaign events and heading home to Washington DC. He and his people wanted us to believe that this was somehow totally normal, even though Pence had recently been exposed to coronavirus, and was seen with apparent pink eye (a coronavirus symptom) during the debate the night before.

Now Mike Pence is seemingly nowhere to be found today. His Twitter account just posted a new AP article published this afternoon about what he said during his Arizona campaign events – but those events took place tomorrow. It’s almost as if the Pence team wanted people to see the article and mistakenly think it meant Pence was back on the campaign trail today.

The campaign is still insisting that Mike Pence plans to travel to Florida for an event on Saturday, but we all know we can’t take this campaign at its word. We’ll see what happens tomorrow, and what condition Pence is in if he does show his face.

For now, the question remains: what prompted Mike Pence to cancel today’s events and run back to Washington DC? He and his people had to know how suspicious it would look, given the circumstances. So even if he doesn’t have coronavirus, something is going on today that’s so crucial or dire, Pence didn’t care that his cancelations would leave the public suspecting he had coronavirus.
