When you’ve lost Paul Ryan…

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Uh-oh. There is an argument between one Republican and an orange insurrectionist bubbling. To whom will the spoils of victory go? Former President and Chief operating officer of insurrections, Donald Trump lost it on his Truth Social platform. Why? Because of former House Speaker Paul Ryan. Remember him?

Ryan, who is a member of the board of directors at Fox Corp, had dared to insult the orange menace. Ryan was in the state of South Carolina when he made some comments of an unflattering nature about Trump. He was at an event for a candidate in the area. And Ryan — who was passive to the point of absurdity while in Congress — gave Trump a bit of a tongue lashing.

Saying Trump had lost the 2020 Presidential election, Ryan went on to label him “vengeful” and said people are tired of it.

Anyone who thinks Ryan said these things out of a sense of caring should think twice. Paul Ryan is a Republican through and through. It is this writer’s opinion that he likely left his job in congress because he did not want to deal with the alt-right. Still, this does not absolve Ryan.

There is no denying that it IS comical to see the Trump melt-down. Trump, as you know, does not like criticism. Taking to his own failed social network, Trump called Ryan a “weak RINO” and also attacked Fox non-news, calling them “lame” and suggesting they became that way because Ryan is on the Fox board. He also called Ryan a “pathetic loser.” Such maturity!

Trump also insisted Ryan is “despised” in the dairy state of Wisconsin. “That’s why our country is going to HELL,” Trump roared on his “truth” platform. Calm down, Donnie, calm down. “Get Ryan off your board,” the lord of the lies roared, presumably at Fox. “And stop taking negative ads from the perverts and others!!!!”

I just ADORE the four exclamation points, readers — don’t you? Yes, it is happening as we said it would. They’re turning on each other. They’re all off in crazy-land. And that, readers, is why I chose this article to write—GOP arguments and fights and accusations and snark. I just love it when they turn on each other, don’t you?
