What’s going on with Donald Trump’s health now?

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

With just five and a half weeks until election day, Donald Trump’s physical, mental, and cognitive seem to be worse off every time he appears in public. Here’s what Palmer Report wrote on September 1st, which is worth revisiting as Trump prepares to appear in three debates on live national television:

Originally published on Palmer Report on September 1st, 11:58am: Yesterday the New York Times reported that when Donald Trump was taken to Walter Reed Medical Center late last year, he was in such dire shape that his handlers feared he’d need a medical “procedure” under anesthesia, and put Mike Pence on standby.

The specific nature of Trump’s medical emergency still hasn’t been revealed. But when coupled with the visible decline in his physical and cognitive health in the nine months since, it’s not difficult to parse that Trump likely suffered a stroke or some other issue that impacted his cognitive and motor function. Now Trump is naturally going berserk about the revelation.

Trump tweeted this today: “It never ends! Now they are trying to say that your favorite President, me, went to Walter Reed Medical Center, having suffered a series of mini-strokes. Never happened to THIS candidate – FAKE NEWS. Perhaps they are referring to another candidate from another Party!”

This is an oddly specific denial, considering no one is even reporting that Trump had a “series of mini-strokes.” While there has been a lot of speculation passed off as actual news in various tweets over the past twelve hours, in reality the Trump health issue in question still hasn’t been specified by any actual sources. Yet Trump is so sure everyone is going to figure out it was a stroke, he’s already preemptively denying that it was a stroke. He appears to have just given away what really happened.
