What the hell is wrong with this guy

It’s hard to tell why Donald Trump lies so much. His lies are almost immediately debunked. It’s good that some people have the guts to call him on it, as President Volodymr Zelensky did the other day. Trump claimed that Ukraine started the war with Russia. We were all here when Russian invaded Ukraine. Trump was around as well, but he suffers from selective recall. Zelensky told reporters in Kyiv: “Unfortunately, President Trump – I have great respect for him as a leader of a nation that we have great respect for, the American people who always support us – unfortunately lives in this disinformation space.” It’s kind of Zelensky to put it that way because it’s not just disinformation, it is flat out lies. At the same time, Trump is also a known admirer of Putin, so it’s no surprise that he wants Ukraine to end the war, even if they must give up more territories.

CNN reported that Trump has not only adopted Russia’s rhetoric, but the fact that he called Putin prior to calling Zelensky is telling. Trump then traveled to Riyadh to hold talks on ending the war, but he forgot to invite one person: President Zelensky. How can you try to resolve a conflict by leaving one of the main players out? It makes no sense at all, but Trump rarely, if ever, makes sense. Zelensky probably wishes he still had President Biden (so do we). Using his formidable blackmailing skills, Trump suggested securing 50% of Ukraine’s rare minerals for additional support with no guarantees to Ukraine for security. Zelensky’s response was: “I cannot, I cannot sell our state.” He shouldn’t have to, but we have a crook in the White House now.

As CNN reported, Trump was angered by Zelensky’s complaints of being left out the meeting. Well, duh. He is the president of Ukraine. He should have been involved, but Trump is likely up to no good. That’s his modus operandi. Psychologist Valeria Valevska spoke with CNN from Kyiv: “I believe that Trump is a narcissist, he is very unpredictable, and Ukrainians cannot trust him or count on his support at all. I don’t like Trump’s policies, and I think most Ukrainians and Europeans don’t either.” Get in line, honey. There are plenty of Americans who don’t like Trump’s policies either. That’s why we voted against his return to the Oval Office. Simply put, he’s a liar. He even lied about Zelensky, claiming that his approval rating is 4% when he was elected by 73% of Ukrainians, and he has shown why. Zelensky has stood strong in the face of a formidable enemy and has not backed down once. Trump also said that Ukraine is under “martial law” because they haven’t had elections. How were they supposed to hold elections when people were struggling to stay alive? Besides, we know how Trump feels about elections. Trump could care less about elections unless there’s something in it for him. He will make damned sure that he gets plenty out of the last election.
