What the hell is going on with Tucker Carlson tonight?

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

To say that Fox News host Tucker Carlson is on edge would be an understatement. After last night’s Chauvin verdict didn’t go the way he was hoping, he erupted in a maniacal Joker-like laugh, then threw his own guest off the air. Then he pushed conspiracy theories about his college yearbook. Tonight, Carlson got… worse.

During his show tonight, Tucker Carlson tried attacking Congressman Ted Lieu, but in the process he ended up completely short circuiting, as documented by Aaron Rupar on Twitter:

Yeah, we’re not even sure what to do with that. It’s not clear if Tucker Carlson has completely snapped under the pressure, or if this is some kind of strange attempt at bravado on his part. Either way, we suspect that if Carlson loses a couple more advertisers, he’ll become unprofitable and get canceled no matter how many viewers he has.
