What is this moron Donald Trump even talking about?

If you’re wondering how the Los Angeles fires played out, it’s pretty straightforward. The initial fires got out of control so quickly because unprecedented hundred mile per hour wind gusts prevented air support from being able to operate. But once the winds died down in the second week, air support allowed firefighters to gain the upper hand, and now the fires are nearly 100% contained. The rain over the weekend just about finished the fires off completely. Now it’s about recovery.

But that’s the real world, and what actually happened. Then there’s the fictional version that only exists in Donald Trump’s imagination, and is now being repeated by his White House press secretary. In Trump’s imaginary version, he sent the military to invade California and forcibly turn the water back on against the state’s will, and that’s what finished off the fires. Huh? Seriously, huh?

How do you even respond to someone who’s this deep into hallucinatory dementia? This guy actually thinks he sent the military into California to magically fix the fires by turning on some giant water spout somewhere. This is the kind of stuff that could get someone committed against their will for mental incompetence. He’s gone.

And yet there are losers out there who will choose to believe Trump’s imaginary version of events, because anytime Republicans stick it to a blue state, it helps these losers feel better about their own failed lives (sorry, I’m just calling it like it is). The real problem in this country is that so many losers are eager to believe any convenient lie that helps underscore their right wing belief system.
