What is the Supreme Court’s game here?

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

The Supreme Court just voted 7-2 to temporarily keep the abortion drug fully on the market while it hears the case. This does not necessarily mean they’ll vote the same way at the end of the case. Who knows what these clowns will do? But at least it’s positive news for now, certainly better than if the court had done the opposite.

It appears Roberts, Gorsuch, Kavanaugh, and Barrett are trying to give the Supreme Court some shred of legitimacy by at least temporarily voting this way. We’ll see if they stick with it in the final ruling or if this is just a brief attempt at good publicity ahead of a bad ruling.

Clarence Thomas is clearly daring everyone to keep digging up his corruption scandals until one of them finally finishes him off. And Samuel Alito, who used his dissent to baselessly accuse President Biden of planning to ignore the Supreme Court’s eventual ruling if he doesn’t like it, is some kind of psychopath. These people shouldn’t be allowed to be in charge of the jukebox, let alone the country.

Women’s basic rights should not come down to how six depraved creeps decide to play the personal politics of power. This is a game to them, but for hundreds of millions of people, it’s their lives. No matter how the final vote goes on this or any other case, we should all push for Supreme Court expansion more loudly than ever. This Supreme Court is simply illegitimate.
