They are not only trying to break us down, but now, they’re trying to kill us. NBC news reported that the leader of the FDA food division resigned. Who’s going to make sure our food is safe, Robert Kennedy, Jr.? This is even worse than we thought it would be. When Jim Jones resigned, Trump’s press secretary issued a statement: “There are a number of bureaucrats who are resistant to the democratic process and mandate delivered by the American people.” First, Trump doesn’t know anything about democratic processes. Second, Trump did not receive a “mandate” from the American people. His victory was 1.5%. Then, she made things worse by writing: “President Trump is only interested in the best and most qualified people who are willing to implement his America First Agenda on behalf of the American people. It’s not for everyone, and that’s okay.” Qualified? Like Hegseth, Kennedy, and Gabbard? Some people have a hard time standing by while coworkers are fired for no reason other than the word of one of Trump’s acceptable immigrants, Elon Musk. As far as most are concerned, Musk is the unelected president, and Trump is his sidekick.

Hundreds, perhaps thousands, of people protested across the country Monday. At the U.S. Capitol, they chanted: “Elon Musk has got to go!” and “No one elected Elon!” Many people are now jobless because of Musk, while he sits and counts his billions. ABC News spoke with some of the protestors, including Victoria, who was fired from the Forest Service last Saturday. They also spoke with Peter Ketcham-Colwill, who was a lawyer with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. Both chose to work in public service because they cared and felt that they were doing services for the public. Victoria told ABC News: “I’m a patriot, you know? I work for the federal government because I love this country, and I want to make a difference.” Ketcham-Colwill hates that the American people will no longer have “watchdog protections” provided by CFPB. He said: “And I mean, you know that feeling [of being fired] was bad. Honestly, the feeling that, you know, the financial cop is off the beat, the CFPB has worked.” He also spoke of the importance of the Department of Education and the EPA: “They’re there for a reason. They’re there because they [serve] a congressionally mandated function that people need to live the American dream.” Therein lies the biggest issue. These agencies were created by Congress, and it seems that only Congress should be able to dismantle them. They have also managed to shut down the National Labor Board. This will impact everyone working in the United States, whether unionized or not.

Donald Trump has set out to change our world and not for the better. He and his unelected henchman Elon Musk are waiving termination papers around like confetti. And what about us? What’s going to happen to all of us-especially those of us who never wanted Trump back? Sure, we can say, “I told you so,” but that doesn’t fix anything. We must continue to protest and hope that the courts allow Congress to do their job. After all, they created them; they should be the only ones tearing them down.
