What does Lindsey Graham think he’s doing?

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

What on earth is happening with Lindsey Graham? Graham, in recent weeks, has been acting — well — normal. Or about as normal as a Gent like Graham CAN be. He praised President Biden for saying he’d appoint a black woman to the Supreme Court. He even appeared to rally behind one of Biden’s possible picks — J. Michelle Childs. He also recently spent some time with House Whip James Clyburn.

Not only that, but Graham has been tweeting his approval for Biden. For example, Lindsey tweeted this: “I completely support the Biden Administration’s decision to send more U. S. Troops to bolster NATO allies in the face of Russian aggression.”

Wow! Lots of compliments for our President lately, Lindsey. What gives? Sadly, all the warm fuzzies didn’t last. Perhaps the change had to do with the Lord of the Lies who labeled Lindsey a “RINO.”

Or maybe it had to do with the title of a new article from Vanity Fair. The title? “Lindsey Graham spent six years with his head up Trump’s ass for nothing.” Wow. Vanity Fair sure didn’t hold anything back in THAT title selection. Now Graham’s tweets are once again turning negative as he rails against Biden’s work to fix the border.

So what gives? The answer is simple. Lindsey Graham is much like many a Maga. That is to say, he seems to lack a core. At heart, Lindsey Graham is like the weather. Think about it. There are deep similarities between the two.

One day Lindsey’s warm and balmy with a 90 degree chance of sunshine. Other times the skies are cloudy with a strong chance of murky precipitation. And OTHER times — such as when assolini makes a negative statement about him — blizzard conditions with low visibility can be expected.

In the case of Graham, it’s very changeable — sometimes a thundershower, sometimes a deluge. That is not to say that Lindsey won’t vote for Biden’s Supreme Court pick. I believe he might. But let’s keep our eyes open where Graham is concerned and not lose sight of who he is — an inconsistent squall with a great deal of variables.
