What does Jim Jordan think he’s doing?

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. The allegations against Republican Congressman Jim Jordan keep getting even uglier. This time, six former OSU students are accusing Jordan of having known about the sexual abuse on the wrestling team and having tried to cover it up. It’s shocking that he hasn’t resigned from Congress by now and gone home. The longer he insists on remaining in the public view, the likelier it is that the next administration might bring federal criminal charges against him.

It’s tricky to get criminal charges to stick against someone who wasn’t participating in the crime, and merely allowed the criminal behavior to continue by covering it up. Until today, I wouldn’t have thought charges could stick against Jordan – but this is getting UGLY for him.

I do wonder if Jordan is sticking around because he’s hoping Trump will pardon him on his way out the door. But in such case, Jordan’s career would be over anyway. Even a House Republican wouldn’t survive accepting a pardon for something that hideous. Maybe Jordan is just dumb.

In any case, you can find Jim Jordan’s Democratic opponent Shannon Freshour right here:
