We’re in it now
To give you an idea of how down to the wire we’re getting, this is the final full week of the 2020 election. One week from today is election eve. In fact tens of millions of people have voted already. We’re right in the thick of this. These final eight days are for all the marbles. So what now?
Tempting as it may be, this isn’t a time to spend all day watching MSNBC, or spend the day scrolling through social media posts, or even spend all your time reading Palmer Report. That kind of thing may leave you feeling plugged in, but it won’t change any votes.
If you’ve already voted, or you have a solid plan to vote, that’s fantastic. But your vote is just one vote. How many people among your family and friends are in favor of Joe Biden, but haven’t voted yet, or haven’t made a plan to vote yet? Get with them. Make it easier for them to vote.
If you don’t know anyone personally who fits that description, then sign up to phone bank or volunteer with the Joe Biden campaign. It’s not too late. In fact it’s the perfect time. If you live in a state that’s not in play, then sign up to phone bank in a state that is in play. The Biden campaign can steer you in the right direction. All you have to do is sign up. Do it now. You’ll be glad you did.
