This morning, Donald Trump woke up and began ranting about something other than his Alabama hurricane scandal. For a minute there it looked like he’d finally decided to let it be, after having spent six days finding new and absurd ways to utterly humiliate himself. But that was too much to hope for.

Welcome to day seven of the hurricane scandal. We’ve already had the fake map, the phony statement from a Rear Admiral, and the phony statement from NOAA, all aimed at pretending the hurricane really was going to hit Alabama hard, as Donald Trump had incorrectly insisted. Now we have, well, whatever this crap is:

The Failing New York Times stated, in an article written by Obama flunky Peter Baker (who lovingly wrote Obama book),”Even after the President forecast the storm to include Alabama.” THIS IS NOT TRUE. I said, VERY EARLY ON, that it MAY EVEN hit Alabama. A BIG DIFFERENCE. FAKE NEWS. I would like very much to stop referring to this ridiculous story, but the LameStream Media just won’t let it alone. They always have to have the last word, even though they know they are defrauding & deceiving the public. The public knows that the Media is corrupt!

The crazy part is that Donald Trump’s own original tweet said that Alabama would be hit “hard,” thus disproving everything he’s now claiming about what he originally said. It’s become clear that Trump is hung up on this small issue and going out of his gourd because the House Judiciary Committee is taking a major step forward on impeachment. But Trump isn’t helping himself any with this distraction. All he’s doing is convincing the undecided voters outside his base that he’s too much of a whack job to get their vote in 2020.
