Washington DC Attorney General confirms he’s investigating Donald Trump, Donald Trump Jr, others in Capitol attack

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Washington DC Attorney General Karl Racine appeared on CNN this afternoon and provided some details on his investigation into the U.S. Capitol terrorist attack. He specifically focused on incitement to violence, and he named names.

Racine confirmed that he’s looking into Donald Trump, Donald Trump Jr, Rudy Giuliani, and Republican Congressman Mo Brooks to see if their words meet the legal definition of incitement to violence. He made no predictions about who will be charged, instead saying that it’ll come down to the specific circumstances and the specifics of the relevant statutes.

This is the correct way for a prosecutor to talk publicly at this point in an investigation. But it’s remarkable that we’re already at the point where the DC Attorney General is criminally investigating the President, the President’s son, and a member of Congress in relation to a domestic terrorist attack.
