Wait, Marjorie Taylor Greene said WHAT?

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. The trouble for House Republicans seeking reelection in moderate swing districts this November is that their party includes dangerous insurrectionist extremists like Marjorie Taylor Greene – and they’ve done nothing to get rid of her.

We’re now less than a week from the start of the televised January 6th Committee hearings, which are certain to include a whole lot of dirt about a whole lot of Republicans.

One would think that certain insurrectionist Republicans would be on their best behavior right now, in the hope of providing a counterexample to whatever is about to be unearthed about their behavior on and around January 6th.

But not Marjorie Taylor Greene, who just tweeted this: “The temperature of the country is rapidly changing. Most of our leaders aren’t aware of the huge shift that is happening. There is a break through coming soon and many people are going to refuse to be silent anymore. It will shock our controlling elite when they lose control.”

We could be mistaken, but it doesn’t sound like she’s talking about taking control by winning elections. This sounds like something more dire – which is a real problem, given what played out on January 6th after Republicans like Greene started speaking in this kind of manner. If Greene thinks she can tweet her way out of trouble, she’s sadly mistaken.
