Vladimir Putin displaying increasingly bizarre behavior as it all falls apart for him

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. Vladimir Putin has always been a corrupt villain, and he’s always done evil things. But in the past weeks he’s begun doing stupidly evil things, which is new for him. Not only is Putin routinely sabotaging himself, he’s also behaving in increasingly bizarre ways during his public appearances.

We’ve all seen Putin holding recent meetings, with foreign leaders and even his own advisers, at an absurdly long table. We’ve wondered if perhaps he’s become so ill that he’s worried about the remotest chance of COVID exposure, or if he’s become so paranoid he’s afraid that someone is going to try to take him out. Now it’s all gotten even more strange.

Putin has now held a “meeting” (if you could call it that) with a number of Russian flight attendant trainees so that he could explain why he feels Russia’s invasion of Ukraine is justified. There’s really no way to explain how bizarre this scene was, other than with photos:

As former federal prosecutor Richard Signorelli pointed out, Putin certainly doesn’t appear to be worried about catching COVID from any of these flight attendant trainees. So he must be keeping his own political advisers and military leaders at the end of the table for fear one of them is going to try to kill him, right? But if Putin is that paranoid about assassination, wouldn’t he be worried that one of the “flight attendant trainees” could be a plant sent to poison him?

The trouble for evil villains who go off the deep end like this is that they often succumb to illogical incoherence, which leaves them vulnerable. Vladimir Putin is clearly worried about someone taking him out in some fashion. But he doesn’t appear capable of logically thinking it through. And so he ends up making bizarre moves such as sitting thirty feet away from his own most trusted advisers, but hanging out right next to people he doesn’t even know. If anything Putin’s behavior will only become more incoherent, and leave him more vulnerable, as this continues to get worse for him and Russia.
