Vivek Ramaswamy pulls the plug

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

The mainstream political media (on both sides) tried really, really hard to make Vivek Ramaswamy a thing. And why not? He’s a babbling idiot, which means he’s good for ratings. The media knew this guy was never going to be competitive, but they wanted to keep him around for as long as possible.

But the media’s big push a few months ago failed to get Ramaswamy out of the single digits in primary polling. And once he appeared in his first primary debate – even though multiple media outlets declared him the debate winner – his numbers went down. It was effectively the end of him.

Now it looks like this is the end of Vivek Ramaswamy for real. He’s pulling the plug on all TV advertising in Iowa and New Hampshire. He claims it’s so he can spend the money later. But what “later” is there at this point? If you can’t even get ads on TV anymore, you’re done. He might as well just drop out now.
