Donald Trump just got unmasked

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

All along, Donald Trump has made clear that he’d rather get sick – or get other people sick – than wear a mask while in public. Trump has mocked Joe Biden for wearing a mask in public. He’s also harassed reporters for wearing masks to press briefings. Now that Trump is having his kickoff rally next weekend, he surely doesn’t want his deranged supporters wearing masks… does he?

In the latest sign that Donald Trump is mentally adrift and there’s no one in charge of his operation, his own advisers can’t get their story straight about whether they want the rally attendees to wear masks. For some reason Trump’s economic adviser Larry Kudlow is weighing in, suggesting that attendees should wear masks. The funny part is that Kudlow is the world’s most clueless person when it comes to economics, yet he’s somehow correct when it comes to giving health advice.

Of course we already know that numerous people around Donald Trump are opposed to mask-wearing in general. Now we know that Kudlow is on the other side of it. But this is the part where Trump, as a leader, is supposed to step in and make a decision. Instead the little fiefdoms around him are each publicly pushing their own personal agendas. It’s a classic sign of a total lack of leadership at the top.
