“Unlawful Flight to Avoid Prosecution”

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Down by double digits with just seventeen days to election day, and facing prison for various criminal charges if he loses, Donald Trump is now openly talking about leaving the country if he loses the election. He tried to frame this as being due to embarrassment. But if Trump did leave, we all know he’d be doing it to avoid prosecution.

Former FBI Assistant Director Frank Figliuzzi summed it up best when he responded to the news by simply tweeting this: “Unlawful Flight to Avoid Prosecution – Title 18 US Code 1073”:

What’s remarkable is just how obvious and transparent Donald Trump’s remark about leaving the country is. Immediately after he made the remark, the terms “Moscow” and “Russia” began trending on Twitter, because that’s his most logical destination, considering he’s already owned by Vladimir Putin anyway.
