Ukraine’s stamp of approval

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

I know that so many of you were intrigued and excited at the Ukrainian stamp contest. It is a rather fantastic idea, is it not? And I wanted to follow up. I am pleased to tell you a winner has been chosen! And the winner of the contest is… Boris Groh. As reported, the words on the stamp are to be “Russian warship goes f### yourself.” A fitting message, don’t you think?

And as noted, these words were the blistering reply that heroic Ukrainian soldiers sent to Russian warships demanding these soldiers surrender. Reportedly there were around 500 entries for the contest. It was narrowed down to 20, which were then voted on.

And it was Boris Groh whose artistry won the contest! It is Groh’s design that is to be featured. And reportedly, the stamps will be out soon — and per the Ukrainian postal service, Ukrainians will be able to send these stamps “to friends abroad.”

Groh’s stamp artwork features a Ukrainian soldier standing alone and resplendent on the shore — and giving the finger to Russian warships.

Also, reportedly these feisty soldiers were not killed. There is reporting that although they were captured, they are still alive. This came from the Ukraine navy. If you would like to find out more about Boris Groh and see his artwork, that can be found at www.borisgroh.artstation.com .
