Ukraine heaps praise on President Joe Biden

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Given what we know now about the conflict in Ukraine – or more accurately – given what much of the media is finally reporting on, the GOP is rapidly running for cover and trying to act as though they’ve been on the side of the Ukrainians all along – even as their allegiance to Russia has been fairly obvious over the last four years. While the former guy has shown a willingness to believe Vladimir Putin over the assessment of US intelligence agencies, he and his handlers are now trying to pivot to the laughable nonsense of how only he could deal with Putin and that the invasion would’ve never happened under his watch.

One of Donald Trump’s favorite phrases – during the campaigns and his presidency was that no one knows or does “[anything] better than I do.” It’s why he was incapable of being wrong – as he can never stand to be bested by anyone – regardless of how much more qualified they are in their respected field – be it immunology or foreign policy. One thing he probably won’t be particularly happy about are the choice words of President Zelenskyy’s chief of staff, who on Thursday said that no president of the United States has done more for Ukraine and the Ukrainian people than President Biden during an interview with CNN.

This is, of course, true, unlike nearly every time the former guy said it about himself. President Biden is aggressively ramping up aid to Ukraine and it’s absolutely crucial that voters are armed with this fact when going to the polls as the primary season begins. The Democratic Party have been the champions of individual liberty and freedom while the GOP is suddenly pretending to care about the situation in Ukraine that they helped cause.
