Ugly news for Tim Scott

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Good news is always welcome. And today, I come bearing gifts — or at least one specific gift containing the failing remnants of a certain Republican candidate for President’s campaign. TIM SCOTT IS BROKE.

Say it with me: the poor baby! Scott’s super-PAC just canceled most of its remaining TV ads. Now – when a political candidate — any political candidate’s TV ads are canceled by their PAC, one knows it’s for one reason and one reason only. They’re just not cutting the mustard politically.

Scott has failed to gain any traction. His poll numbers have actually gone DOWN. At this point, Mike Pence is polling higher than Scott, and that most definitely IS cause to worry. Worse news for the Maga wanna-be. Tim Scott, at the time of this writing, has not qualified for the third debate.

Few things in politics could make me happier as Scott has run a campaign that is — well — it’s SOMETHING, but I’m not sure we can even call it a campaign. The whole thing seemed to rest on Scott imitating Trump and, in mystical rants on Twitter, trying to be as Maga as humanly possible.

Many have tried this sort of thing before him. All have failed. It stands to reason his numbers would go down, given the last anyone saw of him, he was arguing with Nikki Haley about curtains. I think it’s curtains for his campaign, though.
