Two of Donald Trump’s attorneys in the classified documents probe either just quit or got fired

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

The DOJ just unsealed Donald Trump’s criminal indictment, and shortly afterward, Trump announced the departure of two of his two criminal defense attorneys.

Trump posted this on social media: “I want to thank Jim Trusty and John Rowley for their work, but they were up against a very dishonest, corrupt, evil, and “sick” group of people, the likes of which has not been seen before. We will be announcing additional lawyers in the coming days.”

Well okay then. So what happened here? When your attorneys are departing at a time like this, and you don’t even have replacements lined up, it can’t be good. Did these attorneys take one look at the unsealed indictment, determine their client had lied to them, and quit? Did Trump fire them? We’ll soon find out.
