Twitter slaps warning label on Donald Trump’s latest insane tweet
Earlier this evening, Donald Trump tweeted an incoherent and disturbing tweet which claimed to be a CNN broadcast of a “racist baby” on the loose. It was pretty clear right off the bat that this was a fake, given that the story was absurd, and that the video spelled the word “toddler” incorrectly. But now Twitter has taken action to make it official.
Twitter has now slapped a “Manipulated Media” warning label on Trump’s insane “racist baby” video, along with a link explaining its “synthetic and manipulated media policy.” While there never was any CNN story about a “racist baby,” Trump’s whacked out video is a manipulation of a heartwarming viral video showing a black toddler and a white toddler running to embrace each other.
