Twitter slaps warning label on completely unhinged Donald Trump tweet

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. Now that Donald Trump’s attempt at killing the Post Office is starting to incrementally fall apart, with 26 House Republicans voting yesterday to save the Post Office, Trump is trying out a more desperate gambit. He’s now decided that voting drop boxes, long standard practice, are somehow the bane of his existence – but Twitter isn’t letting him get away with it.

Trump posted this deranged and false tweet this morning: “So now the Democrats are using Mail Drop Boxes, which are a voter security disaster. Among other things, they make it possible for a person to vote multiple times. Also, who controls them, are they placed in Republican or Democrat areas? They are not Covid sanitized. A big fraud!”

It didn’t take long for Twitter to place a warning label on Trump’s tweet. If you look at the tweet now, you see these words instead of Trump’s original words: “This Tweet violated the Twitter Rules about civic and election integrity. However, Twitter has determined that it may be in the public’s interest for the Tweet to remain accessible.” You can only see Trump’s tweet if you choose to click past the warning label.

So now we have the President of the United States violating basic rules about “civic and election integrity” to the point that punitive action is being taken against him. It’s yet another reason why we must vote Donald Trump out in record numbers on November 3rd.
