Donald Trump suffers bizarre Twitter malfunction

As the pressure of impeachment, a failing presidency, and a post-presidency indictment continue to get to him, Donald Trump is deteriorating in rapid fashion. His increasingly strange behavior on Twitter alone has served as a measure of just how far gone he is – particularly in recent days.

Earlier this week, for instance, Donald Trump inexplicably retweeted an automated account called “Donald Trump’s butt.” Then he misspelled a two letter word. These are small things, to be sure, but they serve as a microcosm for all the larger things that Trump is getting more frantic, sloppy, and frazzled about. Now it’s happened again, in even more bizarre fashion. Donald Trump has somehow found and “liked” a six year old tweet which, thanks to the magic of an updated Twitter card, now displays a recent meme making fun of Trump’s gaffe about building a border wall in Colorado. Yep, this is what Donald Trump is now seeking out and “liking” on Twitter. We’re not sure if he’s “liked” this tweet on purpose or by accident, but either way it’s bizarre. Trump’s only other “liked” tweet is also from 2013, and it accused Trump of not being particularly “self aware.” No kidding.
