Twitter has reinstated Donald Trump. It’s already proving to be a mistake.

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. After Donald Trump incited a terrorist attack on the U.S. Capitol and then posted multiple tweets praising the terrorists, Twitter suspended him for twelve hours. Now he’s back on Twitter, and it’s already proving to be a mistake.

Trump is already back to posting tweets like this: “The 75,000,000 great American Patriots who voted for me, AMERICA FIRST, and MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN, will have a GIANT VOICE long into the future. They will not be disrespected or treated unfairly in any way, shape or form!!!”

Out of context, such a tweet just sounds like unhinged partisan ranting. But you have to put this into context. Donald Trump is a domestic terrorist who just got done inciting a deadly attack on the United States government. Trump is also now a cop killer. Even the kind of tweets he’s posting now, which don’t specifically reference acts of terror, are dangerous.

Consider this tweet from Trump just now: “To all of those who have asked, I will not be going to the Inauguration on January 20th.” Okay, fine. But with law enforcement working to protect the Inauguration from potential violence by pro-Trump domestic terrorists, Donald Trump shouldn’t even be allowed to speak about Inauguration. Trump is potentially just days away from being criminally charged by the DOJ in relation to domestic terrorism. He doesn’t belong on Twitter.
