Roseanne Barr posts crazed tweet about Donald Trump and no one can even figure out what she’s talking about

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

If you’ve been paying attention to Roseanne Barr over the past year, you already knew that her political views were fiction-based and obscenely deranged even before she began aligning herself with Donald Trump’s equally fictional and deranged views. Now Roseanne has bought herself fifteen more minutes of fame by relaunching her old sitcom and depicting herself as the Trump-worshipping bigot that she is. The trouble: now that she’s back in the spotlight, everyone can see that she’s mentally unstable.

Trump called Roseanne to congratulate her on the premiere of her show, which prompted her to jump on Twitter and begin praising him. Not surprisingly, she quickly began flat out making things up. Roseanne tweeted this: “President Trump has freed so many children held in bondage to pimps all over this world. Hundreds each month. He has broken up trafficking rings in high places everywhere. notice that. I disagree on some things, but give him benefit of doubt-4 now.” No one is even sure what she’s talking about.

Trump has made no moves on child trafficking. It’s not even something that he’s trying to take credit for. Roseanne is merely fabricating (or repeating) laugh-out-loud fictional accomplishments by the Trump administration, which reveal that she’s either criminally misinformed, or criminally insane, or perhaps both.

It’s inappropriate for ABC to have given such a large platform to someone like Roseanne Barr, who is so insistent on using her platform to promote one deranged and factually false claim after another in a fashion so damaging to the public discourse. For now, the large ratings for Roseanne’s show, likely driven largely by people tuning in to see just how much of a train wreck she is, will keep ABC continuing down this mistaken path. But as Roseanne keeps reminding the general public that her political beliefs fall somewhere between Alex Jones and Charles Manson, this experiment can only end up going south.
