Turns out Vladimir Putin is right to be paranoid

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

The situation with Putin is only getting worse for him. It seems every hour there is news about Putin, and none of it is good for him. We’ve watched in real-time as the Russian economy has tanked. We’ve witnessed country after country offer aid against Putin. The message could not be clearer. Everybody stands with Ukraine.

What does Putin think as he holes up, abandoned and isolated? Putin is former KGB, and he’s also a maniac, so self-reflection is likely not in his nature. But it’s pretty evident that he did not envision what is currently happening.

A picture is being drawn of a man who threw it all away for a big gamble in stealing what is not his. And as a result, he may have destroyed any chance of effectively leading in the years to come.

And now Russian Businessman Alex Konanykhin has offered a $1,000,000 reward to arrest Putin. Deeming him a war criminal, Alex promised to “pay $1,000,000 to the officer(s) who complying with their constitutional duty, arrest Putin as a war criminal.”

In reality, Putin keeps himself surrounded by tight security. He’s always been mistrustful and paranoid. However, just because one is paranoid does NOT mean they’re not out to get you. The Russian Rube is worthless. ExxonMobil is pulling out of its Russian projects. Things are dire for Putin, and as the world watches the horrendous mess that he and he alone has made, he must know he’s running out of options fast.
